Born in Istanbul in 1988, Mert Tunçmakas started his music career by learning classical, acoustic and electronic guitars during his primary and secondary school years. Later, he worked as an assistant in various recording studios and practiced the techniques of music production; On the other hand, he started to produce documentaries, series music and his own songs.
Mert Tunçmakas, who started working with the well-known pop-rock producer Rıza Erekli at Erekli-Tunç Studio in 2010, started his solo career in 2018. Tunçmakas, who worked as a recording engineer in the projects of names such as Ajda Pekkan, Selda Bağcan, Hadise, Seyyal Taner; He also took part in many other important projects as an instrumentalist and arranger.
Mert Tunçmakas, who presented his single work "How Many Times" and "How Many Times Acoustic Version", whose lyrics, music and arrangement belonged to him, to the audience in 2020; Since then, he continues to make his name known with various songs and projects.
